Experience the highlight of the Elspe Festival year in 2023 - the Karl May Festival - the all-day experience for the whole family. The story is set in the Llano Estacado, a desert between Texas and New Mexico in Comanche hunting territory. A lot of shady characters hide in the hiding places of the desert. They join together in gangs, raiding farms, luring travelers astray, looting and killing them. The gangs are called "The Vultures." But before they succeed in terrifying the whole area, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand intervene. Together they put a stop to the bandits in a spectacular action. Experience a new exciting production with 60 actors and over 40 horses on the 100 m wide natural stage.
